Life brings many challenges yet it also brings opportunities to grow.  Striking a sense of balance amidst the upsets and upheavals can feel impossible. I work with people to achieve this balance by building on existing strengths and adding new tools that will help them thrive. My goal is to help individuals move through life more freely by accessing their potential to adapt. Together, we can discover opportunities for growth.

Psychotherapy provides the space and time to explore how we look at ourselves, at relationships and at the world. We can uncover existing strengths and patterns that may be hindering you. We can begin to clear a pathway towards a better relationship with yourself and with the world around you.

Therapy in not a one-size-fits all solution. As each individual brings with them a unique set of concerns, I bring an integrative approach using various methods and modalities that inform my work (CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and EFT). I am formally trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and mindfulness . Social justice informs my practice and how I look at systems that marginalize certain populations. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, transitions, and identity using a feminist perspective.  My background in Cultural Anthropology provides me with a language and a lens to explore issues of identity and experiences of culture.
